Archives & Sources

Archival research has been central to my work as a historian. I have worked with diplomatic, institutional, economic, corporate, and personal sources, particularly for research on Soviet foreign relations and the reconstruction of Soviet–Japanese economic contacts after the Second World War.

My archival experience includes research in Russian repositories and work with material connected to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. I have also used business and personal sources to reconstruct negotiations, professional networks, and the practical mechanisms through which international economic relations were rebuilt.

This section brings together notes on significant collections, source types, and research pathways. Where archival and copyright rules permit, I will also provide references and research aids that may be useful to other scholars.
