Head of Financial Analysis Department — Mitsui & Co., Ltd, Saint Petersburg, 2007–2010 Support of the commercial function, management of client contracts, market studies, financial forecasting and analysis.

Executive Assistant / Regional Representative — Mitsui & Co., Ltd, Yekaterinburg, 2000–2007 Commercial representative for the Urals region: lobbying and business relations, negotiation of industrial contracts, work with local authorities, and the introduction of Japanese products to the regional market.

2011 — London, United Kingdom Third European Congress on World and Global History (ENIUGH). Paper: “The Restoration of the Soviet–Japanese Trade and Economic Relations after the Second World War.” The published congress programme lists Juliana Kadeshnikova with Saint Petersburg State University.

2006 — London, United Kingdom Academic presentation on Russian–Japanese relations: “Difficult but Intense Friendship: Russia and Japan,” developed in the context of an academic session involving former Japanese Ambassador to Russia Koji Watanabe.

Conference papers in Russia (Perm, Saint Petersburg) addressed Mitsui and the development of Japanese private capital (1880–1918), Soviet–Japanese fisheries relations, the consequences of the 200-mile economic zones, and Russia–Japan trade in the 1990s.
